Serial 6 is a Tornado 6 and serial 7 is a Tornado 7. Both go to the same customer (Jimmy) to match with his Tornado 8 (which wasn’t serial no.8!).

The first thing you are wondering is where are serial numbers 6&7?! Me too but my photo album is complete chaos. 🙂

This is the Instructor 6, custom built with a Full Wells. The gold/black is standard now for US models. You can request this in Europe. Or anywhere else. Or indeed anything you want!

The white rods are wonderful for teaching. I wouldn’t teach with anything else. We have 6&7 instructor rods as standard. I personally wouldn’t go lighter because the finish will affect the action. We have certainly made instructor 7&10s before.

immaculate finish here from Andy the Redneck — of course!! Also good for fly fishing in snowstorms, or so I inagine I’ve been told. This rod is off to Oregon… so Stealth Master David!
