All Stealth HT8

This reminds me of my first custom built rod which was a Loomis IMX handbuilt by Steve Parton in 1991. Stealth black throughout!

This is my current go-to HT. I fish a SA Bonefish 8 on mine.  I really liked casting the SA Infinity 8 that Peter brought over this summer and recently I’ve been playing with the Ballistic Saltwater 8 and a homebuilt monofilament flyline from Argentina!

This rod has been built with Torzite Titaniums throughout. Next time I rebuild mine, or cause it to accidentally explode, I will have it fitted with Torzites. For quick shots the shoot is better.

Remember, every rod comes with a Zoom lesson from me, as well as puts you in the 666 competition — where you have a one in 666 chance of winning an all-expenses paid, destination saltwater FFing trip where you will see what it’s like to live on beans and potatoes.

As always email me for more info or to order yours! More on the HT8 here

Cheers, Paul

HT5 Comp V2

The Comp5 V2 is the HT10 in wolf’s clothing. My personal one can’t wait for the next WCs in Sweden. This one is off to the USA. I met the new owner yesterday for a Zoom cast!

Fitted as Torzites Titaniums as standard, everything about this rod as a 5WT is distance. But it’s also a 10WT when fitted with a ten weight line. And arguably the best one out there!

For more info on this or any of our rods email me on

Remember all rods purchased go into the 666 Saltwater comp where you can win a two week destination fishing trip to a remote atoll.

Now this is a very sexy rod. Originally made for the MCI test of all things, it’s a really fantastic light SW fly rod. Also it’s good for blasting streamers on rivers and I would think great for backcountry NZ too, especially when fishing heavy double nymphs. It’s definitely a cannon, but with great all-round feel as you would expect with a Sexyloops HT.

TCB is one of my Zoom course students  and a very high level caster he is too. Our lessons are more about exploring than teaching. Great stuff.

Taylor already has many HTs but this one was to get into the 666 SW competition. The sailing boat we are planning to live on for the foreseeable future will be called “666”.  And fittingly there will be 666 entries. Buy a HT and you have the chance to win an all-expenses 2 week SW trip with me. And if we get shipwrecked it will be even longer. Perfect!

Rod is in!And looks great of course, I like how the green wraps came out. Can’t wait to give this a cast. I have a new MED7 ready to go.

I’m pretty sure that combination will potentially throw 145’+ in Taylor’s hands!

Email me on to find out more!

HT8 for Graeme

The HT8 is my current go-to rod, perfect for larger streamers and Poppers. Great Flats rod. I use a SA Bonefish 8 on mine but have also been impressed with the SA Infinity Salt 8 recently (even though it is slightly overweight). We have always called this rod “a cannon with finesse”

Not only does Graeme get a couple of Zoom casting lessons (he has actually bought two rods), but also he goes into the Great Sexyloops Pirate Competition, where one lucky winner will get to visit us on the Sexyloops Yacht in a few years time. How exciting!
