It is only 4 months and fishing season will start again. Two busy months ahead with reindeers and sleigh rides. Then it will be slowing down April, we are planning ice fishing trip for that.
Days are getting longer and we have daylight almost until 5pm. It means that when last groups are leaving around 4 pm, I will have one hour to practise. Just have to put myself together and start it. If I was worrying about not having snow in December, well we have it enough, thank you. Now every snowing is just extra snow work and cleaning tracks.
Yesterday I talked with my daughter on phone, she asked if I feel old now. I asked why and she said because she will be 18 on Friday and you are 50 years next year. I told never, I'm just young forever and you children are just getting older.
I have been fishing with Anni since she was 2 and half years old. It doesn't mean that we are fishing a lot together but still now and then some fishing trips. I watched and find some nice photos from few of those trips. I was watching photos and remembered all the trips and feelings what I had and have. I truly hope that we will be doing some in future also.
I have also photos from guiding trips except from last two summer less, I haven't been taking so many any more. I still remember the joy what my guests had when catching a fish, photos are good reminders, even I'm not really watching them regularly, basically ever unless need to have some specific. Like today when sending memories to my daughter. I'm getting little bit sentimental now and then, I think that I might get older after all.
