So forecast was few days rain and thunder, that never happened. Sunday there was rain and thunder, it passed us again. All the rivers should be closed. But they don't do that in here as system is from middle age. And I don't have any faith in fisherman, which was proved today.
Lake water temperatures are between 24 to 25 celsius, which is bloody hot in here. Totally in Finland we have had 18 days in row that somewhere has been over 30 celsius, it is record. 1972 we had 13 days in row. River temperatures are between 23 to 24 celsius, which is really dangerous to salmonide fish.
And today I saw people on parking lot coming and going fishing. There is just no limit on stupidity and especially me, me... I have holiday and I want fish, no matter what are circumstances. I understand, yet not. I would love to go fishing, I just can't, it against everything. Of course if you take all the fish to eat it is okay, but as salmonide fish there are minimum size so you will always end up to no kill situation.
Thursday evening we had small thunder and rain, and first time past 3 weeks temperature dropped under 20 celsius. Forecast is that during weekend it should cool down some and next week nights would be only 14-16 celsius, if some rain during the day it will take only few days and waters are back to under 20 celsius.
As lake water is over 24 celsius, I think will go swimming on lake on Friday. That would be first time for this summer. Waters has been warm enough few weeks but I have found easier to have shower and stay inside with air conditioner after physical working day.
I got new efat bike last week and started "training" and getting ready as I hopefully will have short holiday end of August. Plan is to go Sweden and some fishing with bike giving extra distance.
Forecast is that after weekend there is end on this weather, I believe when I see it. Same it has been promised few times already and always moved forward. Nature needs water.
