There is obviously a quite significant separation between initially learning to roll cast and how to train it, and the second part of today’s video for those of Intermediate Level.
I had plans to reshoot it and make it into two videos but I’m flat out at the moment with the Ironman in seven and a half weeks and learning to swim with Snakehead again.
I did actually catch a fish tonight. Sort of a one cast one fish sort of deal. I also have another video talking about rod loading vs line slinging and the AFFTA system. But I’ll almost certainly have to reshoot that one.
So much happening at the moment. I’m also following the World Championships closely despite not being there. I’m there vicariously through others and I hope that they have a wonderful time and exceed their expectations in performance.
I’ve had the very great pleasure of coaching some of the competitors this year. That’s been thoroughly enjoyable. It’s good to have goals that aren’t just set by me. Hopefully I’ll be at the world championships myself again in two years.
