Today is the first of May - right here in Germany this is the opening day in pike fishing!
So you are wondering HOW I can make time to put down this front page? Me too! ;)
Indeed I am on the run to throw my best pike fly to a specific pike, which I have seen several times during the past weeks. I know precisely, where she mostly is cruising around when hunting for baitfish. No need to tell, she is quite a massive (beautiful) lady and I can't wait to ask her out for a date! Hopefully I can show her in my next frontpage next Wednesday.
On the Sexyloops board we are having a nice discussion trying to shine more light on hauling a static roll cast. The static roll cast is among the most common of all casts. A cast every beginner (I think) should learn right from the start in fly fishing. I use it in many of my fishing situations. Having said so I mostly don't combine it with hauling! More about it here:
