I have been able to avoid rabbit holes some time now. You know the ones that you start search something and then go deeper and deeper, and get stuck. Only reason for that is that I has been way too busy and tired after days out.
So I have been following some pages on Facebook and discussions on those. I really hope that I haven't make any comments on those. I do have two brain cells and I think the smarter one is having long holiday, so idiot one is in command.
I had to check that post if idiot was on command, luckily it was not. It is same post which James mentioned earlier on FP, I think that's the one. When I saw video, I was like that is nice distance casting, not watching line or rod at all. Just hand and body movement and for me it looks like that guy knows what he is doing.
I consider most of content on that page is over my league but I'm on my way to upgrade, at least I plan so. My casting could be better and I know that in my best moments I can be pretty good actually.
My plan is not to be competition caster. My plan is to be better fisherman and that requires better casting, better distance and better accuracy. And not just now and then but all the time and when ever I want it.
My last cast is over week old and that's way too much. I truly hope that during next week it will ease enough so I can start practise again. I hate that clocks were turned as it means that one hour less daylight in the evening.
So what is super entertaining? Casting, fishing and Facebook. How facebook? There are plenty of groups and posts, just throw something in and see how people react. People want to be valid, they want to show their knowledge even it might not be valid. I drop myself sometimes on those but mostly I just want to see how big storm you can make in water glass. That is when my idiotic brain cell is in lead...... as they say: I shouldn't say it but my brains are like, let's say it and see how they react.
When other one takes over, I'm casting or practising snooker. That's super fun and entertaining.
Have a nice weekend
