A few minutes rain thru the last few weeks was not enough to help our rivers and our fish. Gladly the temperature came under 30° but the grayling population had already big losses. In some rivers it's already fix that there will be a fishing stopp for grayling minimum one year to help to protect the "rest". Also the nice river 10 minutes away from our home has really shallow water...
A friend went to help with electro fishing in that river, because there are some parts so shallow that there are only a few drops water left behind the big stepps. Here some pictures from that part he helped. The completly dry part is about 400 meter:
It's just heartbreaking to see all the fish dying - so let's hope for rain and thanks to all the people who work for free to save some few fish
