Snap of the finger

Snap of the finger

Snap of the finger is measurement of time as you know, like also blink of the eye, both of them have different tone as you might say. Now days are running like snap of the finger for me.

I was able to finish our fence project two days ago. Then I have list for other things which needs to be done before real winter and begin of winter season. The list is not long, instead it won't happen in blink of the eye. The fence was not built with just snap of finger. It is funny how you can play around with just these two dictum and everyone understand meaning, I assume.

It is our luck that we have trainees from France now, they are needed extra hands. We went to help other farm for two days so they get some things done before winter hits. Beside weather was kind of that our work could wait day or two. It has been snowing, next warm and today maybe snow, sleet and rain, tomorrow just warm and rain. It is difficult weather in many ways.

So fence was not built with snap of the finger and weeks are still running like snap of the finger. When you are learning casting, it won't normaly happen with snap of the finger. Even when you are fishing, it might be that you won't catch a fish with snap of the finger. All these things take time, effort and lot of work, especially when you want to be good.

And when you are fishing, take will happen with blink of the eye. If you loose your concentration, you will miss the take. Those two dictum are really measurement of time, also they tell you something more behind. Second is second, minute is 60 seconds, hour is 60minutes and so on. It is kind of science, facts which we accept and use.

Skills won't be learned with snap of the finger and yet our days fly by like with snap of the finger. And all this will end with blink of the eye. Funny world :D

Now I have run, reindeer round up is about to start and I have to pick Satu's reindeer from there.

Have a nice weekend and go fishing, take will happen with the blink of the eye.
