Last year was what it was. It is time look forward again. We just finished Christmas season with Spanish. Well we had also , German, Dutch, Belgian, French, Brittish etc guests, still mainly from Spain. Now it is turning to German season.
Last week has had some up and downs. Last week when I wrote FP, I didn’t know that power will out 14 hours on next day. It was close to – 20 celsius and today we had frozen water pipe and out of power again. Now it is only -18 celsius. It was great time with guests but…. lot of extra work with these small things.
People often asks what I prefer most, summer or winter. We do have two other seasons but everyone skips those. Today I really started to be fan of Summer. First of all I do miss fishing and secondly I’m getting sick of cold, not that I would feel that. Instead it makes things a lot more difficult if something goes wrong.
I’m probably getting old, I do love warmth and easy going life. I do love share our life with guests and still I could do it with in more warm weather. I dream about casting and standing on the river, hooking a fish etc.
And still when I can jump on snowmobile, I will be fan of winter again. It is so great to have four seasons and still I would love to go fishing all the time in warm weather. Well you can’t have everything at once, yet. Next week should be slower and easier so I hope that I can put my mind together and write something about fishing really. I do have so many ideas going thru my brains, just right now it is just snow work, reindeers etc.
