At the moment we are hosting our fly fishing trip to the Glomma in Norway. We are having a hell of a time fly fishing for grayling, Brown trout and pike.
Fair to say EVERYONE caught several fine fish. Even our total beginner could land plenty of fish. The river Glomma in Norway is a fantastic river offering a fantastic stock of fine grayling and some proper Brown trout as well. And it also holds great pike upto well over 1m length.
We have been fishing with dry flies, nymphs and streamers. All worked fine in the right moment. The water level this year is quite low which makes reaching out to all the islands in the middle of the (big) river easy for everyone.
Right now I am very tired after we have been in the water all day long. Some hours sleeping for me now and then tomorrow morning we will start with a superb breakfast and then keep on fishing again. Live is about perfect for us now! ;) Sleeping next to a fantastic water and fishing all the rest of the day. What more could we ask for!?
If you are interested in joining us next year, you may send me an email: bernd@first-cast.de
