Lot of short stories to tell, and not really ones I would prefer or you to hear! We all would love fish stories and kind of caught some but not those ones with catching yet. As they say it is all about happening.
We arrived last Friday and Nick from Tacklebox Adventures kept his shop open for us until late evening. When you visit KL, that is place to stop by and make last minute shopping when fishing here. You can't expect that he will always open outside normal hours but worth to ask. In our case it might be helpful because Nick got some special flytying material from Finland.
Saturday we had bus trip from KL to Gerik (or Grik). It was about 5 hours drive, yet very comfortable, air condition, seats had leg extensions, much more comfortable than airplane even we had extra space for feet. We had nice nap half of trip and last half watching views. Paul picked us up from bus station and then some shopping. Dropped out to Belum resort for one night.

We have camp on island, hammocks, tarps and so on. In the evenings some campfire before crawling in the hammocks. Satu had few issues about circumstances, I just adds some words and you will understand, (especially if you have same), menopause, time of the month, all this combined extreme heat you are not familiar and unable to swim for certain reasons.

What about fishing? It is great even not with not great success yet. We have seen more fish now than last time. Problem is that fish had chance the game. They come up quite slowly as last time, when going down.... They take much deeper angle and shots are always late, at least my ones. I have feeling that I have good shots but no success. And fish are making final decisions, my shots are not so good after all.

Thursday we went down south, only few fish seen, ran out of petrol. Paul came earlier go the meeting point and had extra petrol so evening saved. During the day we had nice and long break at the small waterfall with freshing cooler water to wash.

Friday laundry, shower and shopping. Satu will stay next two days at resort and I return to the lake. Our plan is still to go Sungai Tiang on Sunday. Hopefully Satu will get better and she can come also. She can't really enjoy this trip as she is sick or at least body is not functioning as it should.

They say happy wife, happy life... Satu is not exactly happy so... :D I'm fishing still... so

Have a nice weekend!
