After 3 weeks of outstanding fly fishing in Norway we finally are back home. Of course I directly went back into fishing my home waters.
Our final days in Norway have been a blast. We fished the Norwegian fjord-land for mainly pollack and cod and then on our way back had a short stop at Rena river to catch some final grayling and Brown trout on dry flies in the middle of night. Both worked out perfectly.
The last two days I was chasing some fine carp. Tomorrow I will be teaching double hand fly casting in Hamburg and have some fly fishing for asp right before the lesson. Can't wait! It's time for some fine asp - best time of the year right now!
Then in the weekend I will run another fly casting group lesson in my hometown.
All in all there is some fly fishing involved every day, which feels just about right!? ;)
It's all about to happen - just we need to make time!
I hope you can make some fishing time as well!?
All my best
Bernd
Some pictures as always...
