It is not 13th and Friday, it is side hit, Friday. It have been insane and busy week. Satu has been sick and had no voice, so I have been working a lot at farm. Yesterday evening I had great idea for FP and I thought that in the morning I can finished it easily. I went to bed at 8pm all ready and woke up at 6.30 ready to write.
I was having my breakfast when Satu got call from Niklas, Satu’s son. Other car was coming in middle of road against and he had to go on the side, snow sucked him and car to snow. So I had to finish breakfast fast and go to help him out. There were visitors coming to the farm and he had to be at work. I took tractor and went help him out. After getting car to road I checked engine room, there was more snow than engine. So I need to clean it and then I found out that one belt is not on the place. So we had to dump car by the road and I had to call tow truck that we don’t make more damage. Car will be out of use over weekend, it will take at least one day that snow is out from engine and belt has to be fixed.
When I came back from towing operation to farm I saw that Satu came from shop and she looked really worried. She said that ambulance is coming and guests had overturn sleigh when driving reindeer. Those overturn are every winter thing and during 13 years when we have runned business and during 22 years at farm with driving it has so far only been driver’s self-esteem which has been hurted. Overturn normally happens when people don’t lean on left as told, instead they lean right. Turn is to left so…. Now it was case that they lean left little bit and when drifting was ending they kind of helped sleigh to turnover to right. Accident nothing more, this time lady used her right hand to land and her right elbow went of from it’s place.
Ambulance came and they put elbow back in place and now she is just in case in xray that nothing more was broken. I was talking with her and other lady who was with her. They biggest worry was how is the reindeer. I told them that he is fine as always when these things happens. Just before entering to ambulance and going x-ray we were laughing all ready. They knew about my morning, I’m worried if I should really stay at home now and just hope that day would be over.
Well that I can’t do, there are some groups coming all the time and snowmobile tracks need to be maintained. This week there have been same question many times. When I will have holiday and where. My answer has been that we normally go on April to Sweden for ice fishing and snowmobiling and then August fly fishing. This year we will go to Malaysia on May, everyone says that do you know how hot and moist it is in there. I tell them that yes I can’t probably handle it but fishing will be great and that is enough for me.

Ps I dodged moose a week ago on Friday with car. I got some moose hair on tread and some snow on engine room. Fridays seems to not be my friends anymore.
