Temperatures are dropping and we had snowing again just to be gone mostly two days later. Lakes are slowly getting ice. I will have look today how it looks on ours. I haven't got time to get some whitefish for wintertime yet and might be it is too late.
This week we have been working at farm and making winter preparations, high season is close or at least it will come faster than we think. It is same every year, you think you have time and suddenly it happens. Busy with emails and stuff like that. I got exciting email from Sweden on Tuesday, waiting final confirmation about that. I will probably know it next week and then surely tell all about it.
Last Friday I stole 2 hours just for myself. Was it worth? Hell, yes. I just decided that I will go fishing. Took my gears and went to our lake, no wind, +4 celsius, no activity, cloudy and I enjoyed every second.
I did casting, rowed around lake and hoping to catch something while making cast there and there. So it ended up to be casting session. I was just fine with that. This weekend was planned to be some reindeer work which just was cancelled during late Thursday evening.
So Friday I will be I will do some farm work amd hopefully Saturday lake is not totally frozen and I could do last time for this season. Not really having huge hope on that as nights are already -5 celsius and days +1 celsius if lucky. Yet you never know if macig happens.
So last Friday could have been last time for season or it will be on tomorrow, Saturday. Then it is only casting practise until May. We see how it goes.
