I've had another week of enforced non fishing. It's getting frustrating, especially as I'm well enough to sit at a laptop and work, but get too puffed out to walk a river.
It also makes it difficult to think of fishing things to write about. I've barely tied a fly this week having completely lost the urge, probably because I've not been on the water.
I'm hoping to meet up with Hiromiki while it's still warm and guide him to a few barbel and carp on a river north of Tokyo, we've not fished together since March because calendars haven't aligned. So provided I'm recovered enough, we'll try to make that happen in the coming weeks. Despite always enjoying it, he almost never fishes for carp preferring swinging flies with the 2 hander for trout. Weird to me but each to their own.
