editing videos, fly fishing, fly tying and teaching fly casting

When it comes to fly fishing – and that is what my life is all about - I live my life a quarter-mile at a time. As usual I am into lots of fly fishing stuff these days!

Last week I bought a new mac book pro and loaded it with Final Cut Pro X in order to seriously get into film editing. I have hundrets of short fly fishing films on my computer and will now work my way into editing. Of course it may take several years before I get to the point where I want to be. But that's fine. I'll get there and then hopefully share some fine fly fishing videos with you.
In the day time I was into teaching fly casting mainly. While in the evenings I was fly fishing for pike perch as well as tying some flies for it. You may find a step by step tying instruction for my "Zanderqueen" below.
Due to all that starting to learn my new editing software was for the night shifts yet. That's pretty much what I do. Fly fishing stuff all around the clock. I don't think it has happend during the past ten years that my mind was off fly fishing for more than an hour the most within any day.
I have no clue what this means. Only I know it is just excellent this way.
Hopefully you'll have some fly fishing stuff on your schedule, too!? ;)

All my best

Bernd
