At the moment we are hosting a fantastic fly fishing trip straight into Grayling heaven. We all know that catching a fish marks only a small percentage of fly fishing - even though the word fish is included in fly FISHing. Anyway here at the Glomma a lot of dreams come true in regrad of CATCHING a proper number of serious fish!
Inbetween all our hosted fly fishing trips the Glomma trip is the one for which we do give a catching guarantuee to everyone - yes, total beginners in fly fishing are included here. Not only does the Glomma hold lots of wild fish (Grayling in particular) but lots of nature and space for everyone as well. Then we have midnight sun at the moment making it possible to fly fish all around the clock.
We fish with dry flies, nymphs, streamers, floating lines, sinking lines and what ever we like to. No rules like in many other destinations about dry fly, floating line and more ONLY. Of course we are allowed to make a fire on the river bank as well here. I can't see what one could miss right here!?
I have been fly fishing the Glomma for about 25 years now and I wouldn't want to compare it with all other rivers I have fished. It simply is on the top of my favorites when it comes to this sort of fly fishing.
