This is what I hope for next week too - the lake we're targeting has some nice flats, with an average depth around 1½feet, and that is just perfect for fishing a popper or a slider. And the takes - they're violent - a bit like throwing a fridge in the lake in the vicinity of your fly :-). As you can see, it's good fun!
