I've had a thing for the Mickey Finn for years and years. It was one of the first flies I tied, and the fly I first caught a fish on, and it holds a place in almost every flybox I have. That's why I wanted to convert it to a modern, scandinavian style salmon tube fly. The conversion when well, I think I had it down in the second attempt and I just knew I would catch fish on it (note the fly on the bank in front of me - it's the Mickey Finn Tubefly).
