"Another Sutton CLONKAAA!!... bloody hell... it just blew up"

Pete lets out another Sutton Clonka cast and the line explodes on impact. This is one of the hazards of distance casting.

Later, Pete said, "Looking back I really don't know what happened, I think I must have hauled that little bit quicker on the final launch, we were very lucky no one was killed... it went 72 yards, or at least it would have done had there been anything left to measure"
