Here is a deer hair sedge as used the world over. Tomorrow I have a slightly different version I prefer in larger sizes. This is a great fly, you can hackle it if you need something bushier. It's great for rivers as well. As with all my flies I like them "rough and ready".

Wing: Deer Hair in whatever colour you fancy, tied in and clipped roughly. Body: fur in whatever colour you fancy. Rib: mono.
