Alberta hosts some of the world's most outstanding trout fishing. I doubt I've caught such magnificently conditioned fish: deep, solid, pigfish. And from a mystery stream, completely wild and with excellent numbers.
Day 1: I landed five fish between 3 and 7lbs.
Day 2: 14 fish, half of them being "good fish" of around four pounds and more.
Day 3: Lots of small fish (under two pounds!) plus four good ones.
Fuck me. I'll be back.
