Before coming to New Zealand Lisa had never been camping before. Talk about being thrown in at the deep end. Here she's discovering that she has a major talent in collecting someone else's firewood.

"Before I came to New Zealand I was ignorant that I had this skill; it's great to discover something one is really good at. I didn't have to cross any rivers to find this wood. Which is a pity of course, because it would have been a good test of Paul's firelighting skills."
