Continued from FP 15 April, 2006
I was on the water from 1pm to 3pm, and I caught a big nada mostly because of a big-or-nothing popper strategy. 3pm it started raining. At least I got to test my poncho! I was feeling so much better about life in general that I turned left leaving the dam instead of right. I was heading for the heart of the Khomas Highlands and the Namib Desert not much further, simply to take pictures of the ghosthouse and a German rock fort.
If you stand on that hill and imagine what it was like a 100 years ago I can't help but believe real men lived there. If you consider the layout, it becomes plenty obvious you should not fuck with ze Germans!
