This fish, found primarily in the Florida backcountry, has it all.
Explosive runs, and the occasional leap from the water will keep you
interested. Also, these fish tend to hang out around mangrove roots. When
hooked, you have to be on your toes to keep them from winding trough the
roots of the tree and loosing you. They spawn off of the beach and are
taken there in season. In addition, these fish will congregate on spring
nights around bridges. If you like night fishing, you will find that this
is some of the most exciting fishing that you will ever do. Courtesy of Bradley "MadBrad" Wesner
