In NZ refers to trolling on a lake with fly rod, fly line and fly from a moving boat. Usually with a fast sinking line and streamer patterns. It is not 'fly fishing' under IGFA rules which stipulates the fly must be cast and boat engine must be out of gear when cast was made.
