It was this beautiful pattern by Matt Klara that prompted my new "hobby" - converting American steelhead-patterns into the Scandinavian tubefly style. I'll reveal some of the flies in an upcoming article.

Sometimes, when I sit with all the materials I have a hard time believing that the fly will turn out as something I'll ever fish. That sort of epitomises my view on American steelhead-flies - very unusual colorcombinations related to what Scandinavians are used to. But usually the dlies turn out very cool!
