Exhausted after his battle with the giant fish, Paul's spirit is broken and he returns to camp to sleep it off. Note that unlike most back-country campers, he has no time for tents.
"Why are you sleeping in a coal-sack, Paul?"
"It's not a coal-sack, it's a body-bag. Anyway, sod off and mind your own business. And take these bloody sandflies with you".
I think that says it all, really. Tomorrow: the start of a new series, featuring Paul doing his excellent impressions of a streetperson.
