Online Art Explosion

Matt Klara | Sunday, 9 April 2017

I like to mix up my front pages between my own aimless ramblings about fly fishing and some actual real, useful news for everyone.

If you want aimless this Sunday, I recommend that you read about my Fly Tying Complexity Rating System, from a few weeks back.

This week, I’ve got big news.  Many of the regulars here are familiar with the artwork of Mimi Matsuda out of Bozeman, Montana.  She’s been a great friend of mine for going on 18 years now, and until a couple weeks ago, I think her website has looked about the same since we first met at that roadside turnout in Yellowstone so many years ago!

So the big news, in case you haven’t guessed already, is that Mimi launched a new website that truly does justice to her amazing artwork and personality.  Check it out and enjoy something a bit different from your desktop or phone this weekend - from vivid landscapes and wildlife studies, to whimsical pieces that will make you smile every time.
