Ashly and I had a nice New Year’s Eve in a remote part of the jungle lake. I haven’t visited this part for about a month since it really requires a 3-4 day trip without Internet, making it a small slice of Heaven! It’s fishing well right now too, and I’ve successfully caught a Snakehead every day this year so far :D Apart from today actually, but I’m just about to head out on the hunt on this “one fish a day fishery!”
I have a FP all lined up for tomorrow – I'm quickly covering for James and Tracy who are no doubt still celebrating the turn of 2020. I was sorry to hear about Andy catching Covid but I'm pleased to hear that he is doing well. I really hope that in 3-4 months we have turned this corner. Here in Malaysia we have recorded our highest daily infection numbers since the pandemic occurred. It was under control here but anyway let's not talk about that...
The POD image is the Snakehead I caught on the 1st Jan I've been looking for a beautiful Snakehead that I can use to vinyl wrap the sides of my truck with and this might very well be the one!
Right it's 4pm here and there are three hours of daylight left it's time for the hunt to begin!
