Fly Fishing 2020

As we all know 2020 was an extremely difficult year in terms of travelling - especially to other countries. In fact I had to cancel nearly all my hosted fly fishing trips. The same happened to most of my workshops and even fly casting lessons.

I tried my upmost to teach as much as was possible, but yes, it was truly a very tough situation!

Besides all these dramatic and very sad situations we all were in, I didn't want to allow that situation to kill my fly fishing enthuiasmn!

All year long I had one none fishing day, in which I decided to stay home. Then I lost one day, because I was ill and 3 days due to travelling.

Right now I am about to go fishing, while I am looking back on 358 fishing days in 2020 yet. Most probably it will be 360 by the end of 2020.

Fair to say there are a lot of fantastic new memories, that will stick in my mind for as long as I live. Fishing wise I made 2020 being another brilliant fly fishing year!

Some fine memories 2020

It seems to me that many of us fly fishermen want 2020 to be over as soon as possible and to forget about all the fly fishing trips, which had to be canceled. Well, I hope our situation for travelling will soon be back to better times! Besides that I will keep on working hard to make each day count!
