Last week I still fly fished for asp before starting to Denmark on Saturday hosting a trip for coastal Sea trout fishing.
My last days on asp couldn't have been much better (if any) as you may see in the pictures below. Seems I finally have worked out enough details to consistantly catch proper sized asp.
On Saturday we were starting our annual fly fishing trips to Denmark in order to teach coastal Sea trout fishing. Right away we had a brilliant start and caught some fine Sea trout. Every day we are starting fishing in the morning, before having a fly casting lesson at lunch time. Then in the evening we have some fishing again. After darkness we have some fly tying lessons.
At the moment we are facing lots of wind making it a bit heavy to chose the right spots. Anyway most days are pretty sunny and we enjoy weather and fly fishing at it's best!
Hopefully we'll catch a few more fish during the next days as well.
Fair to say: Life is great! I love to teach, I love to share fishing and there is nothing more I would want to ask for!
Ok, time to hit my bed and be ready again tomorrow in the early morning at around 5 am!
Great fly fishing week to all of you!
All my best
Some pictures as always...
