A couple of key points to be aware of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Remember to roll the rod tip in the correct direction. When teaching it takes a little while for this motion to become subconscious &#8211; but it always does in the end \ud83d\ude42<\/li>\n<li>As in all roll casts the rod needs to be canted\/tilted slightly so that the rod tip is directly above (or ever so slightly closer to you).<\/li>\n<li>Now very important: this canted rod plane needs to be maintained throughout the Casting Stroke. A couple of things that may help: pay attention to how your hand moves &#8211; it needs to move forward in a straight line and <em>not<\/em> sliced across your body. Also pay close attention to the D-loop, the anchor and the forward target, they must all align.
