Snake Roll Variations

Oh yes baby! Now we are cooking with gas! 🙂

I’m not so sure about the multiple circles; out there in the depths of Sexyloops we do have the Quintuple Roll, which is very funky with a lumi-line. However the second variation in this video is very useful and it changes your D-loop to a V-loop, allows you to play with trajectory and is far more useful into the wind. Quite frankly I find this variation of the Snake-Roll to be more useful, in the  practical sense, than the original classic circular snake/spiral pickup. It is almost two back-to-back Snaps, something that we will come to shortly.

It’s an exploration. Bring a fly rod. Designed for you by Paul Arden.

I hope that you are finding this series to be useful. It will be even more useful to you if you join our discussion forum and ask questions. We are very happy on Sexyloops to give you fly casting advice, which is something that we have been doing for almost 20 years! If you have a question regards this video the correct place to ask is here. You can even send us a video, which will help us to assist you no end!

Alternatively feel free to drop me an email.

Cheers, Paul
