Pretty much all in there! If you want your cast analysed you can join the Board and send us a short video. All we need to see (at first) is the top half of your body and the lower half of the rod. We are most interested in seeing your rod hand and hauling hand.
What is a long fishing distance cast? I would argue that it’s around 80-100ft with a 5-line. Anything over that and you are doing very well indeed. I’d recommend that only once you can consistently cast ~100ft with this style should you switch to the more open style taught in the next video.
