I'm having another of those "WTF do I write about for the FP" days.... They often turn out to be the best I'm told.... I doubt this one will but I'm in a whimsical mood....

I sang a song of rivers past
The places I've been, the places I've cast
The trout I've caught
The trout I've missed
The fighting Kingfish which left me pissed.

I think back to days of youth
When each new lesson became a truth
Dry fly rises
Nymph surprises
Only one way, no compromises.

But time marches us into age
And while I still lovingly cast my Sage
Lessons Learned
Lessons dismissed
It's now the "truth" that leaves me pissed.
