This is a little beauty, and quite a rarity in a farming land like Denmark. It's a small tributary - a few hundred meters further upstream it's less than 6 feet wide - to a larger, Danish river. It's one of astonishingly, completely untouched rivers in Denmark. It's very clean and has an interesting invertebrate fauna as well as healthy populations of both brown trout and grayling.
Salmon enters this river as well, and the first ones are quite probaly there already.
The little river is among the most beautiful in Denmark as it meanders through a shallow valley. Unfortunately, come late June there's so much weedgrowth that it's almost impossible to fish the upper parts, and a good portion of the lower parts are on private hands.
