Geared up

Day off while I pick up some gear and relocate. Here's the gear carried for a day trip...

1. Small daypack sometimes with water bottle, depending on the river
2. Waterproof camera bag
3. McLean Weighnet
4. Spare tippet. 4, 6, 8, 10 and 14 lbs
5. Sheepgirl rings
6. Spare tapered leaders to 10lbs
7. Ferris Indicator
8. Hook sharpener
9. Waterproof bag with rod licence, spare camera battery and cassette, lighter
10. Flybox with range of nymphs, dries and Terminators
11. Insect repellant and sunscreen
12. Hat and polarised sunglasses
13. round my neck on a shoelace: forceps, lead shot, snips, 6lb tippet, floatant, leader sink
14. in plastic bag: bumroll, first aid kit, emergency blanket, waterproof headlamp - which you can't see because it's still in the bag (that was clever)
15. camo raincoat.
16. 9ft 4-piece 6 weight rod, 6 weight floating line, 9 ft tapered leader needle knotted to line, sheepgirl ring on end, four feet to dry fly indicator (surgeons loop), 6 feet to heavy nymph, one foot to small trailing nymph
17. four muesli bars which I've eaten
