Picture of the Day
The Nail

On the Board in the recent thread about flytying, Dave asked for the fly I use in coloured water, and I do remember promising the picture, so here it is :-)

The Dressing:
Hook: Partridge Salar size 2-7.
Thread: White UNI 8/0.
Body: Silver Mylar with Pearl Mylar over.
Ribbing: Lagartun Medium Oval Silver.
Hackle: Orange cock.
Wing: White Artic Fox, two bunches, short one underneath, longer one on top with Pearl Mirrorflash.
Head: White (thread).

If the hook looks a little bent out of shape, it's because of this, which was caught on the fly in the picture :-)
