A photo from this past Saturday, while floating a Washington river in search of winter steelhead. It was an ugly weather day for sure, with temps in the low 30s (F) and alternating snow and rain.

We didn't touch a fish in 2 days, on the water and only saw/heard of one fish hooked despite a fair number of anglers putting in a good effort. Not an uncommon result, sadly.
