For those who haven't stumbled on the FlySwap - something that looks like this is mine. I promise the flies will be smaller.

The point of getting that close with the camera is to suggest why seals fur is so good at representing this type of ordered mess.

Btw the fly is called a Snatcher - a modern play on a traditional loch fly - fish it slow or static - like a stillwater buzzer.
