Pretty sure this is a golden stonefly nymph, Plecoptera Perlidae of some sort (Clineuria californica? Yeah I've been reading a bug book) Bouncing a tungsten head on a semi tight line has worked, even drawning it back up slowly. Tough part about a pattern is trying the double claws onto the end of each legs.
