Here it looks like I'm wearing a mini-skirt. Transvestites are a common feature of backcountry river mouths in New Zealand. Notice the spectacular way I am reaching forward with the net and backwards with the rod. I didn't know I did this, but it's cool. Also the more observant will have noticed that I am not wearing waders under that mini. Instead I am wet wading. I love wet wading, especially when the water is only 12 degrees.
