Just a few shots from our five day sailing trip around the Balaton. Sailed from Keszthely to Tihany, Sofok, and then back to Keszthely. Some casting, a little fishing, lots of sailing. This is Ria. Ria is my distance casting coach and Hungarian teacher.

Sailing week.
Just back from a weekend at the Balaton. Here is the map! My boat is in a harbour at Keszthely. It was pretty dirty and hasn’t been used in two years! Still it’s sort of clean now and ready for an Asp fishing Adventure. I’m looking forward to a long Asp Sail.

The Balaton
I invited Zsofia for a four day sailing trip (“bring a spare pair of panties, we may stay longer”). 15 days later we return! Anyway these are a few of her shots, obviously she’s quite good at this. This is a HUGE Pod Blog, hang on to your shorts…

OK Zsofia, this is the boat and I know what I’m doing… honest

Buzzer hatch. Pretty impressive if they stayed out the cabin.

Some kind of funky lens.

Basically a fantastic picture of my head.

A castle. Probably Turkish.

Nice picture here, Zsofia wearing the SL cap which she stole before I gave it to her for her Name Day.
-
-
Many beautiful evening sailings.
-
-
See?
-
-
Zsofia is an artist and so some of the photos may be a bit weird.
-
-
I took this one (it’s great).
-
-
Zsofia took this one while I was sleeping.
-
-
A harbour somewhere, Boglar maybe.
-
-
Big skies, big water.

It could rain…

One telephone call, Ralf asking me to come fish Germany. I said Ja.

Meanwhile Zsofia is doing artistic stuff.

Random palace. No one knows its name.

Action! We save this boat from certain destruction when it broke it’s mooring.
-
-
Here I’m helping by drinking a beer and smoking a cigar.
-
-
Back to the Art. I could tell you how Zsofia managed this but then I’d have to kill you.
-
-
A steely pose with one of the locals.
-
-
Puszi puszi.
-
-
Hmmm. A shot through the window.
-
-
Water – and light.
-
-
OK, back to serious stuff. Paul navigates.
-

Paul picks his nose. Zsofia likes this picture.
-
-
I think this is a cool shot.

Hard at work while Zsofia prepares noodles and toast (her speciality).

Drunk.
-

Rain coming in fast. It will rain for the next five days. But that’s nothing as it turns out.
-
-
The Balaton can be extremely beautiful.
-
-
Evening light. Photographers have a special word for it, but I’ve forgotten what it is. Welcome to Sexyloops, a minefield of information.
-
-
Water.

A rock fisherman. Probably fishing for carp.

Ah, we’re still at Siofok.

On to the next destination…

Blue shoes for Lady Blue.

The wind is getting up and going to try to sink the boat a bit later.
-
-
The boat has eyes.
-
-
You can take some cool shots with this lens.

We decide to make a bog-roll note.

Heading back towards Kesthely…
-
-
Some more hardcore Imaginary Asping.
-

Stormy weather…. and then Zsofia’s camera battery dies. Which is a shame because all the Big Asps were caught then!
