Friday July 27th, 2007 If someone broke into my house this dog would : Afghan Hound-do little if anything. These dogs may be mortal enemies of snow leopards, but they are clueless about house-breakers. American Staffordshire Terrier-You know those companies the police use to clean up blood and body parts at particularly heinous crime scenes? You'll need one of those . Australian Cattle Dog- Herd him right back out again. The cattle dog isn't big on barking, but it is extremely courageous and very protective of its home, its family ,and ever other pets. And since its powerful bite was once enough to get attention of thick-hided, half wild cattle, you can imagine the effect it could have on a tender human posterior. Mad Max's side kick . Bichon Frise? -Bark and raise the alarm. For obvious reasons, the bichon can't take out single -handedly (unless the burglar is two feet tall ) Bullmastif-Be a peerless bodyguard but an indifferent property guard. If somebody breaks in while you're home, the bullmastiff will likely toss the intruder to the ground like a rag doll and restrain him until backup arrives. If someone breaks in when you aren't home ,the bullmastiff may react ,or it may not .It's worried about you ,not about your DVD collection. Cavalier King Charles Spaniel -Be deadly in close -quarters combat. Just kidding ! It's worthless as watch dog. The only way it could harm a burglar is if the guy tripped over it. Dalmatian-Wake the dead with is furious bark, then open up a can of four-alarm whoopass Doberman Pinscher-Hurt somebody. Badly. And that someone will not be you. Golden Retreiver-Wag its tail and grin like an idiot. Goldens are about as useful for home defense a an Amish for body guard. Some may bark to announce the arrival of an intruder. Many won't . Irish Terrier-Raise a furious racket, and then, in spite of the fact that it would probably weigh less than intruder' leg, attack. Italian Greyhound- Bark when the stranger approached, then stand around looking worried while the stranger unplugged your TV and carried away. These dogs are very big on standing around looking worried. Jack Russell Terrier -Attack ferociously ,without regard for its opponent's size or its own safety. Jacks are devoted to their families and will defend them self to the bitter end. Labrador Retriver- Grin and wag its tail. This is the breed's only major shortcoming. Most are useless as guardians. Rhodesian Ridgeback-Are you kidding? Ridgeback can route lions .They should have no trouble with the pity thieves in your neighborhood . Rottweiler - Greet him ferociously. If you awaken in the middle of the night to cries of :Oh GodHelpMe NOOOOO " emanating from your living room, it means your Rottie is entertaining your uninvited guest. You might want to call the dog off while there's still something for police to arrest*** ***from the Sam Stall Book : "The Good The ,Bad and the Furry " Nice books ,especially if you are living in Joburg. You should know which dog is best suit to you. Looking at my Fly Fishing Rods Collection which I like very much, I am thinking between Rhodesian Ridgeback and Rotweiller, or maybe both . But, Australian Cattle dog is one amazing dog. as well.I had a chance to meet this ugly and bloody clever animal in Wolf's Avni Giants Cup, he have 5 of them. Or maybe to appoint Dorothy (if there is one more left for me ), she can watch on my Rod Collection as well and answer on my emails, and maybe be cheaper for maintenance than two Rotweillers, simply because they told me she is imaginary ? For the new users ,lots of exciting discussion on the Board might be nice beginning of Sexyloops journey : Tight Loop Roll Cast-never ending story Cheers, ps Dorothy, please inform Paul about my last email, I want to organize really good TULUM at Serbia& Bosnia for Paul and Skeg , it may be useful if I know when they be able to join me…
